Terms and Conditions.

Welcome and thank you for being part of this community that aims to support people and mothers in their transition into parenthood.

These Terms and Conditions are relevant to users of The Mothership London’s website and to attendees to any of the events organised by The Mothership London.

If you are a Class provider or practitioner please refer to the Class Provider - Terms and Conditions. If you are a member or a user of The Mothership London’s Health and Wellbeing Directory, The M List, please refer to The M List - Terms and conditions.

1. These terms are associated with any events, coaching and courses (online and offline) organised by Jazmin Garcia de Leon, sole trader operating under The Mothership London and The Mothership Coach name, and by any of her partners and co-hosts hereby referred to as Partners.

2. About The Events.

(a) The events under this policy include all the events, workshops, coaching and courses digital or face-to-face, planned, organised and managed by The Mothership and Partners including but not limited to The Mothership Mother’s Circles and any other workshops and meditations.

(b) The Mothership Coach and Partners reserve the right to alter the place or the time of The Events and will give reasonable notice of any such decision.

3. Insurance and health

(a) It is the attendees’ responsibility to inform the coach, teacher or practitioner of any injury/medical conditions when booking and before the start of every session. It is advisable that you consult a doctor or physician before attending an event to ensure you are sufficiently fit and healthy to undertake yoga classes and any other activity that has been arranged.

(b) If you experience any injury or discomfort during any activity organised for you, you must stop immediately and advise the coach, teacher or practitioner accordingly.

(c) Should you be pregnant or are planning to be pregnant at the time of the event, please contact us to discuss this before booking any event that includes physical activity as part of the programme.

(d) We hold no responsibility for illness, injury, death or loss or damage to personal belongings at any time during the events (as per the liability waiver in section 4), nor will any compensation be issued in such case.

(e) We reserve the right to stop your participation in any activity, at any time, if we conclude that you are physically, mentally or emotionally unable to do so.

4. Liability waiver

(a) It is a requirement of anyone attending the face-to-face Events (retreat and/or workshops, etc) with The Mothership and Partners, to accept and abide by the following release of liability:

‘I understand that, while the utmost care is taken, neither the individual teachers nor practitioners, nor the event venues will be liable for any damage or injury resulting from my practice during The Events, nor any loss or damage to personal belongings. I understand that classes may be physically strenuous and I voluntarily participate in them with the knowledge that there is a risk of personal injury, property loss or death. I recognise that it is my responsibility to notify the teacher or practitioner of any illness, both physical or mental, or any physical injury before the start of every session or activity and I will not perform any position or exercise to the extent of strain or pain. I understand that I am the sole responsible for my physical and mental well-being and I will only perform any activities to a degree that feels safe and appropriate to my level of physical, mental and emotional health. I agree that neither I, my heirs, assigns or legal representatives will sue or make any other claims of any kind whatsoever against The Mothership, Jazmin Garcia de Leon, her partners and/or co-hosts for any injury, property loss, or wrongful death, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.’

(b) It is a requirement of anyone taking part in any coaching programmes whether 1:1 or group coaching with Jazmin Garcia de Leon, to accept and abide by the following release of liability:

“I understand this programme is not designed to replace therapy nor it is therapy in any way, it is a group coaching programme. It is my responsibility to consult a therapist before engaging in this coaching programme to make sure I’m in a mental and emotional position to do it. I am responsible for notifying the coach or practitioner and consulting a therapist if I become depressed or mentally unwell during the programme. I understand that I am the sole responsible for my physical and mental well-being and I will only perform any activities to a degree that feels safe and appropriate to my level of physical, mental and emotional health. I agree that I will not sue or make any other claims of any kind whatsoever against The Mothership, Jazmin Garcia de Leon, her partners and/or co-hosts for any injury whether caused by negligence or otherwise.’

(c) The release of liability statements apply to the full duration of The event (retreat, programme, circles, workshops, etc) online or face-to-face, whether in a group or private setting. If this statement is not accepted, your booking will be terminated and any monies paid in advance will not be refunded.

6. Cancellations: The Mothership reserves the right to cancel without previous notice, any event, retreat and programme. We will strive to inform attendees of any cancellations as early as possible.

(a) In the event of cancellation by the organisers, you will receive a full refund of your ticket minus transaction fees

(b) The Mothership will not be liable for any expenses incurred due to the cancellation of any event including but not limited to travelling expenses.

(c) Cancellation fees and refunds are specific to each event. The cancellation policy for each ongoing event will be published here as well as on the ticket sales page where you book your place for the retreat or event.

(d) Cancellation Policy for Mothers Circles: Single session tickets for Mothers Circles are non-refundable. If you need to cancel it is up to The Mothership Coach to offer you the alternative to attend a similar event on a later date if spaces are available.

Circle Series tickets (tickets to attend 3 or more circles) are only refundable if you cancel at least 10 days before the beginning of the series, or if your place can be filled by people waiting for a space.

Mum & Baby Circle Series MONEY BACK GUARANTEE - If after the first session, you decide you don’t want to attend to the rest of the series, you will get a refund of your Circle Series ticket minus admin fees and the fee that corresponds to payment of a single session.

In case of cancellation from The Mothership, you will be offered the option to choose from attending a similar event on a later date or receive a full refund (minus transaction fees).

(e) Cancellation Policy for Mother’s RESET Mentoring Programme. You have 48 hours to cancel your subscription to this mentoring programme. After this period, the programme is non-refundable.

In case of cancellation from The Mothership, you will receive a full refund (minus transaction fees).

(f) Cancellation Policy for Summer Day Retreat. You have 48 hours to cancel your attendance to this event. After this period, the tickets are non-refundable.

If you cancel after 48 hours you may receive a refund if the event is sold out and your place can be filled by people waiting for a space.

Tickets are transferable so you can pass it to someone else if you can't attend.

In case of cancellation from The Mothership, you will be receive a full refund (minus transaction fees).

7. Mothers Circles, Workshops and Programmes

(a) Our programmes are not designed to replace therapy nor are considered therapy in any way.

8. Right to refuse

(a) The Mothership and Partners reserve the right to dismiss or refuse entry to The Events at any time at the host, coach, teacher’s or practitioner’s discretion with no refund being issued, in the event of a breach of any of these terms and conditions, or disruptive behaviour.

(b) The Mothership and Partners reserve the right to ask any attendee to leave the event if they are in serious breach of this event policy.

9. The Mothership Coach and Partners must ensure that all attendees are aware of health and safety issues in relation to operating within the venue and updated on specific issues as they arise.

10. The Mothership Coach and Partners decisions on these Rules and all other matters concerning The Events are final. You agree to abide by our decisions promptly.

11. These Rules have been revised in June 2023.
